Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in complex electronics design and development.
  • Strong experience in electrical hardware and PCB design for automotive cockpit electronics.
  • Proven ability to lead technical discussions and design reviews.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced Technical Professional - Electrical Design Engineer to serve as a global technical expert for cockpit electronics products. This role combines deep technical expertise with project leadership responsibilities, driving electrical hardware design excellence, establishing engineering standards, mentoring engineering teams, and providing technical sign-off for global electronics development programs.

Key Responsibilities:
Technical Leadership
  • Lead technical design reviews for electronics development projects.
  • Drive high-quality, cost-effective hardware design solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership for complex design, validation, and production issues.
  • Mentor and develop junior engineers and technical staff.
  • Collaborate cross-functional teams to ensure successful system integration.
Global Technical Expertise
  • Act as a global subject matter expert in electrical hardware design.
  • Provide technical sign-off for global cockpit electronics programs.
  • Drive adoption of emerging technologies and innovative design solutions.
  • Evaluate and recommend capital investments to support engineering objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational standards and technical requirements.
Continuous Improvement & Standards Development
  • Develop and improve internal hardware design standards.
  • Create and maintain reusable circuit design blocks and technical libraries.
  • Capture, document, and share engineering lessons learned across teams.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance engineering efficiency and quality.
  • Collaborate globally to align design methodologies and best practices.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in complex electronics design and development.
  • Strong experience in electrical hardware and PCB design.
  • Proven ability to lead technical discussions and design reviews.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and leadership capabilities.
  • Experience in the automotive industry, particularly in the development of cockpit electronics and electrification products.
  • Familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance requirements for automotive systems.
Technical Expertise

Experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • SoC (System-on-Chip) Integration
  • Wireless Connectivity (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Cellular)
  • Audio Electronics
  • PMIC (Power Management Integrated Circuits)
  • SERDES Interfaces
  • Memory Technologies
  • Functional Safety (ISO 26262)

Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and strong interest in emerging Generative AI technologies and their application to product development, validation, and engineering processes is a plus.

Special Requirements

Occasional domestic and international travel.
