Job summary

Nucor Buildings Group is seeking a Product Owner in the Nashville metropolitan area to turn ideas into digital products. The role blends product ownership with hands-on full-stack engineering using Python, React/TypeScript, C#/.NET, APIs, SQL, and Azure.

You will own the backlog, refine requirements, work with stakeholders, and drive iterative releases while leveraging AI and analytics to enhance user value.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software development, technical product ownership, or both.
• Strong experience with Python, React, TypeScript, C#, .NET/ASP.NET Core, REST APIs, and SQL Server and/or PostgreSQL.
• Experience translating stakeholder needs into priorities, requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Experience with backlog management, demonstrations, and feedback loops.
• Experience with automated testing, Git, CI/CD, and cloud application development.

Responsibilities

• Own and prioritize the product backlog and translate stakeholder needs into clear requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Partner with users and stakeholders to define what to build, why it matters, and how success is measured.
• Contribute hands-on to full-stack development using Python, React/TypeScript, C#/.NET, APIs, SQL, and Azure.
• Collaborate with the team to balance priorities, technical considerations, and delivery.
• Leverage feedback and emerging technologies, including AI, to improve product capabilities and user value.
