What you'll be doing

1. Functioning as a Product Owner in a complex technical environment.
2. Collaborate and communicate with various product teams, BAs, testers, etc., to understand product features.
3. Work with stakeholders and product teams to decompose large epic stories into manageable features and user stories.
4. Lead and facilitate product backlog refinement sessions.
5. Support backlog prioritization, feature sequencing, user acceptance testing, and related activities.
6. Build trust and respect, establish relationships, and develop rapport with technical and non-technical team members.

Requirements

We are looking for someone enthusiastic, energetic, organized, and collaborative, willing to learn and open to new ideas. The role involves designing and developing solutions for various projects.

• At least 1 year of recent experience as a Product Owner plus 3+ years of hands-on technical experience in a cloud environment.
• Strong understanding of cloud technologies: AWS, Azure, GCP.
• Ability to read architecture diagrams and translate infrastructure work into user stories.
• 3+ years experience working in an agile environment with a strong agile mindset.
• Self-starter focused on building relationships and people.
• Committed to the product, capable of offering alternative solutions.
• Experience with Azure DevOps or similar tools.

Nice to have

• Prior experience as an infrastructure architect or similar technical role.
• Familiarity with containers, Kubernetes, GenAI, or artificial intelligence.
• Experience working with offshore teams.
• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field.
• Technical certification in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Scrum certifications (CSPO, CSM) and SAFe knowledge.

Location and other requirements

• Ability to work east coast hours from a home office in the US.
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
