Technical Product Optimization Principal

The Technical Product Optimization Principal is responsible for driving the continuous improvement and optimization of our technical products. This role will mentor and coach team members and work collaboratively cross-functionally to enhance product performance, usability, and customer satisfaction. It requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and leadership capabilities to ensure our products remain competitive and aligned with market demand.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Leadership & Strategy

• Develop and implement a comprehensive product optimization strategy, including Application Life Cycle Management, to drive value with current and new investments.
• Collaborate with senior management to set strategic priorities and advance the product optimization agenda.
• Identify and assess new technologies, methodologies, and best practices to enhance product performance and competitiveness.

Product Optimization

• Oversee end-to-end product optimization and technology stack rationalization.
• Conduct assessments of product performance, identify areas for improvement, and develop actionable plans.
• Use data-driven insights, analytics, and customer feedback to inform optimization efforts.
• Implement and monitor KPIs and OKRs to measure the success of initiatives.
• Monitor and reduce technical debt.
• Ensure all product enhancements meet regulatory, quality, and safety standards.

Stakeholder & Business Partner Management

• Work closely with product development, engineering, marketing, and customer support teams for cohesive optimization efforts.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration across departments, aligning efforts with business objectives.
• Act as a liaison, translating technical concepts into actionable insights.
• Drive Quarterly Business Reviews to increase transparency, address blockers, and promote innovation.

Customer Focus

• Champion a customer-centric approach, ensuring customer needs guide optimization initiatives.
• Gather and analyze customer feedback for product improvements.
• Collaborate with customer support to resolve product issues and enhance customer experience.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's Degree required
• Master's Degree preferred

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, TRAINING, OR QUALIFICATIONS

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in data analysis and analytics tools.
