Job description

We are seeking a motivated and technically-minded Product Marketing Manager to join our growing team, focusing on our core security solutions. As a Technical Product Marketing Manager, you will play a key role in shaping the go-to-market strategy, messaging, and positioning for TuxCare's flagship products: KernelCare Enterprise, Enterprise Support for AlmaLinux, and ELS for Distributions. You will leverage your Linux system administration experience to understand customer needs and communicate the value of our offerings. You will work closely with senior marketing leadership to develop and execute marketing plans that drive awareness, demand, and adoption of TuxCare solutions.

About TuxCare

TuxCare, a subsidiary of CloudLinux, offers a portfolio of security solutions for Linux and open-source software aimed at enterprise organizations. Our solutions automate live vulnerability patching, minimize downtime, ensure security and compliance, and provide expert support across various Linux distributions and end-of-life systems.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop compelling product positioning and messaging for our key products, emphasizing their unique value propositions.
  2. Create diverse marketing and sales enablement content, including blog posts, articles, website copy, datasheets, case studies, white papers, and scripts for presentations and videos.
  3. Deliver engaging presentations and demonstrations for internal teams, webinars, and industry events.
  4. Conceptualize, script, and produce video content to explain product features, benefits, and use cases.
  5. Conduct market research to identify customer needs, trends, and competitive landscape.
  6. Collaborate with product management and engineering to understand product roadmaps and translate technical features into customer benefits.
  7. Support the sales team with product training, competitive positioning, and sales materials.
  8. Assist in marketing campaigns to generate leads and increase brand awareness.
  9. Analyze marketing performance metrics and optimize strategies accordingly.
  10. Represent TuxCare at industry events, conferences, and webinars, including delivering presentations.
  11. Monitor and report on key product marketing metrics.
Qualifications
  1. At least 3 years of experience as a Linux Systems Administrator or in a similar technical role.
  2. Experience with enterprise Linux distributions like RHEL, CentOS, AlmaLinux, or similar is highly desirable.
  3. Strong understanding of Linux environments, kernel operations, and security principles.
  4. Familiarity with enterprise IT infrastructure and security challenges.
  5. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and create engaging content.
  6. Proven presentation skills.
  7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  8. Passion for technology and interest in cybersecurity and open-source solutions.
  9. Ability to manage multiple projects independently in a fast-paced environment.
  10. Collaborative mindset and experience working across teams.
  11. Basic knowledge of product marketing principles is a plus.
  12. Comfort with being on camera for video content is a plus.
  13. Willingness to learn, adapt, and travel for industry events as needed.
