Job summary

IMC is seeking a Technical Product Manager in Chicago to lead trader-facing tools that power fast decisions and execution. You will bridge trading and engineering, shaping workflows, visualizations, and interactions where speed is critical.

You will own initiatives end to end, partnering with traders and engineering to deliver high-performance GUIs that scale with market demands. Expect visibility and meaningful impact in a reinvestment in our trading platform.

Qualifications

Experience owning complex products that users rely on daily.
Background in trading, financial markets, or related domains is a plus.
Strong sense of how users interact with tools under time pressure.
Ability to work with engineers on data flows and system tradeoffs.
Capable of turning vague problems into clear direction and plan.
Excellent written and verbal communication across teams.

Responsibilities

Partner with traders to understand workflows and decision patterns.
Collaborate with engineering to design, build, and iterate high-performance GUIs.
Translate insights into clear product goals, priorities, and requirements.
Own initiatives end to end from problem definition to delivery and adoption.
Focus on workflow efficiency; optimize clicks, keystrokes, and visuals.
Identify opportunities to share patterns across desks while knowing when to diverge.
Communicate direction, priorities, risks, and progress clearly to stakeholders.
Surface dependencies and risks early to prevent blockers.
