About the Role:

Aberdeen Advisors is supporting a groundbreaking healthcare technology partner in the search for a Technical Product Manager to lead the development of a next-generation digital health solution for upper-limb prosthetics. This role focuses on the intersection of machine learning, wearable technology, and user-centered healthcare design.

You’ll be joining a mission-driven, fast-paced team building an advanced myoelectric pattern recognition platform that enhances mobility and quality of life for individuals with limb differences. This is a senior-level opportunity suited for a technically fluent product leader with strong engineering collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive the product lifecycle for AI-enabled prosthetic control systems, from concept through deployment
• Collaborate closely with engineering to deliver and manage backend APIs, system integrations, and cloud-connected mobile experiences
• Provide technical oversight and input on architecture, scalability, and data pipeline design (ML, calibration tools, etc.)
• Act as the bridge between engineering, clinical, and commercial teams, aligning features with real-world use cases
• Help shape product strategy in an agile, high-growth environment with a strong culture of innovation
• Support team members through roadmap planning, sprint execution, and cross-functional communication

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in a Technical Product Manager, Software Engineering Manager, or similar hybrid role
• Background in web services, system integration, and backend development (SQL, REST APIs, cloud platforms)
• Experience working in startup or early-stage environments with cross-functional, distributed teams
• Demonstrated ability to read and review code, engage in architectural conversations, and lead technical scoping with engineering partners
• Exposure to AI/ML product delivery, particularly in healthcare, medtech, or wearable interfaces is a strong plus
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities across technical and non-technical teams
