Job description

About Tally

Over $10T is spent on global supply chain and logistics services each year, yet nearly every invoice is still created manually. The complexity has historically been too great for traditional software to automate, with dozens of parties, contracts, and exceptions on every shipment.

Tally is the first billing platform that reasons, remembers, and understands the business complexity of every transaction, helping enterprise supply chain organisations accelerate their order to cash.

At its core is our logistics context graph, a live intelligence layer that maps every party, contract, and shipment event, and reasons across them to automate order-to-cash with accuracy. Tally understands the operational context behind every transaction to ensure invoices are complete, correct, and defensible.

Our team brings deep experience across logistics operations, enterprise systems, and AI infrastructure. We’re backed by the best vertical AI investors and we’re building a small, high-agency team who want to own foundational systems in a category-defining company.

Why This Role Matters

We’re live with enterprise customers and the product barely scratches what the architecture can do. We need a Founding PM who can hold the full picture: what customers need today, what the platform can do tomorrow, and how to close that gap fast. You’ll be the first dedicated product hire, working directly with the founders to shape the roadmap, sharpen the customer story, and raise the quality bar on everything we ship.

What You’ll Own

  • The product roadmap end-to-end, from discovery through to delivery and iteration

  • Deep customer relationships with our enterprise accounts, translating operational complexity into product requirements engineers can build against

  • AI product quality: defining what good looks like, building feedback loops, and holding the team to a high bar on accuracy and reliability

  • Go-to-market collaboration with the founders, helping shape how we position, price, and sell as the product evolves

  • The hiring and culture bar for product as the team grows

What We’re Looking For

  • 5 years of product experience, ideally including time at a high-growth startup

  • Comfortable going deep with enterprise customers and translating messy operational workflows into clear product requirements

  • Strong product instincts on AI-powered products — you understand what makes an AI feature trustworthy, not just impressive

  • Able to move from customer insight to working prototype fast, validating with users before committing to engineering

  • Experience working in or alongside logistics, supply chain, fintech, or other data-heavy industries is a strong plus

  • Low ego, high output; you do what needs doing without waiting to be asked

Bonus Points

  • Experience in fintech, enterprise AI, vertical software

  • Familiarity with graph data models or context engineering concepts

  • Experience scaling a product from first enterprise customer to repeatable motion

What to Expect

You’ll work directly with the founders with full ownership over the product surface from day one. This is a rare opportunity to define the category alongside the team building it. Competitive salary and equity.
