Job summary

Genesis is seeking a product leader to own the roadmap for our core Physical AI capabilities, translating research breakthroughs into deployable, customer-facing products and coordinating across research, robotics engineering, and field deployment.

You will define readiness criteria for customer sites, set reliability thresholds, and drive cross-functional alignment to turn ambiguous tradeoffs into clear decisions on real-world deployments.

Qualifications

• Track record of shipping technical products where the main challenge was managing complex tradeoffs.
• Ability to read a policy evaluation, understand a sim-to-real gap, and participate in debugging discussions.
• Strong bias toward field work and real-world deployment over theoretical analysis.
• Exceptional written communication to draft specs and decision logs.
• Comfort operating with incomplete information in a fast-moving environment.
• Bonus: prior robotics, autonomy, or related domain experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the product roadmap for core Physical AI capabilities and translate breakthroughs into deployable products.
• Sit at the intersection of research, robotics engineering, and field deployment to resolve tradeoffs.
• Define what is ready for customer sites by setting metrics, reliability thresholds, and scope.
• Drive cross-functional alignment across distributed teams in research, engineering, and field operations.
