Summary
Chamberlain Advisors is partnering with our client’s digital product and engineering team to hire a Technical Product Manager for a high-impact initiative focused on loyalty platform migration and next-gen digital coupon implementation across web, app, and backend systems. This mid- to senior-level role is ideal for candidates with e-commerce and large retail experience, particularly in coupons, loyalty, or platform systems. We're looking for someone highly technical and execution-focused—comfortable working closely with engineering teams, managing complex integrations, and driving delivery across cross-functional groups. You’ll lead delivery of a first-of-its-kind digital coupon experience, collaborating across front end, back end, in-store, and data teams. If you thrive in technical detail, cross-team coordination, and building scalable systems, this is a strong fit.
What You Will Be Accountable For
- Lead product delivery execution across multiple engineering teams for a new digital coupon initiative
- Own the full technical product lifecycle—from discovery through execution—on loyalty and coupon systems
- Write granular, technical user stories and acceptance criteria in Azure DevOps or Jira
- Define and manage backlogs, technical requirements, and end-to-end system interactions
- Collaborate closely with platform engineers, data teams, and integration partners to ensure seamless system handoffs and API coordination
- Serve as a Technical Program Manager—unblocking teams, coordinating delivery timelines, and pushing features forward across complex cross-functional groups
- Participate in sprint planning, scrum ceremonies, and backlog grooming sessions
- Contribute to system integration plans, platform dependencies, and backend functionality
- Work directly on building new user functionality tied to coupons and loyalty initiatives
- Track performance and support rollout using tools like Adobe Analytics
- Communicate with senior stakeholders and cross-team product managers (POS, app, e-comm, in-store)
What Qualifications You Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical field
- 5–10 years of technical product management experience with delivery ownership in e-commerce, retail, loyalty, or coupon systems
- Experience working across large-scale enterprise environments, ideally with coupon or loyalty platforms
- Demonstrated work owning technical requirements, defining integration points, and writing detailed stories for engineering
- Strong coordination skills; capable of pushing cross-functional teams and delivering in ambiguous, fast-paced environments
- Strong experience with tools like Azure DevOps (ADO), Jira, and related backlog/sprint management platforms
- Familiarity with API integrations, platform architecture, and data workflows
- Background in platform product management or systems integration a strong plus
- Experience coordinating across front end, back end, and data systems
- Working knowledge of SQL and Adobe Analytics a plus
- Comfortable balancing tactical execution with independent, senior-level ownership
- Must be detail-oriented, proactive, and willing to take on foundational work
