Job summary

Bloomberg’s CTO Office seeks a Technical Product Manager to define foundational AI infrastructure capabilities, including cloud, compute, data, networking, and runtime foundations behind Bloomberg’s AI platforms and products. You’ll partner with engineering to deliver scalable architecture, shape platform abstractions, and drive roadmap decisions across hybrid-cloud environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical product management in AI/platform/cloud/infrastructure domains.
• Experience building or operating large-scale platform infrastructure used by developers.
• Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure; familiarity with hybrid/multi-cloud.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, API Gateways, Kubernetes, and cloud-native architectures.
• Fluency in balancing latency, throughput, availability, scalability, and cost for AI workloads.
• Familiarity with GenAI/LLMs and production requirements.
• Proven cross-functional collaboration across engineering, security, product, and platform teams.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills across diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the vision for Bloomberg’s AI Infrastructure across models, compute, and cloud.
• Collaborate with AI product and engineering teams to translate needs into reusable platform capabilities.
• Partner with engineering to deliver scalable, resilient system architecture.
• Work with cloud/infrastructure teams to advance hybrid/multi-cloud capabilities and portability.
• Assess advances across cloud platforms, model providers, and acceleration tech for roadmaps.
• Establish metrics to improve latency, throughput, availability, utilization, capacity, and cost.
• Align priorities with AI Platforms, Cloud, Security, and other infrastructure groups.
• Anticipate evolving AI workloads, balancing standardization with flexibility.
