Job summary

Griffon Aerospace, a leader in the UAS industry, seeks a Technical Product Manager to own the technical definition of manufacturing improvement initiatives across our UAS production lines. This role steers the technical roadmap for production scale-up, process development, and automation, defining engineering requirements and equipment specs to industrialize new capabilities.

You will work closely with engineering, production, quality, and supply chain to resolve design-for-manufacturing issues,

Qualifications

• 5+ years in technical product management or manufacturing engineering in aerospace/defense.
• Hands-on with composite fabrication tooling and takt-time analysis.
• Experience with robotic automation, CNC, and metrology systems.
• Familiar with propulsion/powertrain integration in production.
• Experience with PLM/ERP and engineering documentation control.
• Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methods.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical requirements and design intent for scale-up.
• Define composite tooling and process parameters for production rate.
• Specify and stand up automated production cells with vendors.
• Lead technical planning for propulsion and subsystems across configs.
• Develop rate-increase and surge capacity plans.
• Interface with engineering, production, quality, and supply chain.
• Define training and certification for new processes and equipment.
