Job description

Cast Iron Media, LLC is a premier sports and entertainment media solutions company, meeting the needs of its partners by connecting them with engaged fans watching live sports both at home and at the event. Cast Iron's Connected TV platform, SportStream Live™, offers a collection of live games running on popular on-demand services, and includes MLB, NBA, NHL, and NCAA. CrowdConnect Live™ provides national branding and experiential marketing programs across all live sports and entertainment.

The Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Product Manager to drive the growth and evolution of our digital advertising platforms. You will take ownership of complex business challenges, coordinate across departments to ensure client adoption, and bring innovation to the live sports advertising industry. As our team expands, you will play a central role in shaping our product development culture and practices. If you are a seasoned technologist with high agency and a love for building, we encourage you to apply!

Key Responsibilities:
Market, Client, and Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Bring innovative and scalable features to streaming video and live sports monetization.
  • Work directly with clients and partner with sales and client-facing teams to turn client and partner perspectives into product requirements.
  • Leverage working fluency in the ad tech ecosystem (Ad servers, programmatic, header bidding, VAST/VMAP, server-side ad insertion) to prioritize integration work intelligently.
  • Communicate roadmap, trade-offs, and progress clearly to stakeholders across the company, adjusting the message for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and data protection requirements and security best practices.
  • Help troubleshoot performance and operational issues.
Roadmap and Prioritization:
  • Own and continuously refine the product roadmap for our ad serving platform and related components, balancing new capabilities, integrations, scalability, and platform health.
  • Run day-to-day product tasks - backlog grooming, sprint planning, prioritization - and evolve them as the product development team grows.
  • Use data and platform metrics to inform prioritization decisions.
Technical & AI-Assisted Development Partnership
  • Communicate business, partner, and client needs to engineering through formal requirements or general guidance as appropriate.
  • Partner with engineering on system design and technical trade-offs.
  • Help define how AI-assisted development fits into a healthy product lifecycle, from scoping work for agents to reviewing what they produce from a product lens.
  • Apply strong judgment across the platform, working within existing systems and partners to maintain a high usability bar.
  • Participate in highly technical discussions and contribute ideas to improve systems, processes, and user experience.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of product management experience with strong technical fluency.
  • Track record of driving roadmap and prioritization decisions in close partnership with engineering, without heavy process overhead.
  • Experience in ad tech, digital media, and streaming video.
  • Comfort working with or directing AI-assisted development workflows, or strong interest in building fluency quickly.
  • High agency and a hands-on approach; comfortable operating in a fast-growing, still-forming organization.
  • Expertise in taking features from client discovery through adoption.
  • Direct product ownership of an ad serving platform for streaming video monetization.
  • Demonstrated ability to make and defend prioritization calls with incomplete information.
  • Deep experience partnering with sales, client success, or other revenue-facing teams to shape product decisions.
  • Data-driven decision-making - comfortable pulling and interpreting metrics without relying on a dedicated analyst.
  • Experience with mission-critical and large-scale systems.

This is a hybrid, full-time position reporting to the Chief Product Officer. Candidates must be based in the New York Metropolitan area.

  • 150K- 175K. This position is also eligible for performance based bonuses.

Title and total compensation packages are determined based on several factors, including but not limited to experience, skill set, qualifications, education and market considerations. In addition to compensation, this role offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health coverage, retirement savings, and unlimited paid time off.

At Cast Iron Media, we believe in building a collaborative, team-oriented culture where people are encouraged to contribute, grow, and support the success of their colleagues and the organization as a whole.
