The Target Pay Range for this position is $90,000-$100,000 annually. At Antech, pay decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, education, training and budget.

Job Purpose/Overview

The Technical Product Manager (TPM) is passionate and knowledgeable about advancing Antech’s bold industry disruption and supporting fast-paced growth through expanded product offerings, new markets development, and pricing transformation initiatives.

The TPM is responsible for being a product data and pricing champion, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to build, scale, and optimize the next generation of veterinary solutions. They will manage designing and implementing effective roadmaps that bridge the gap between user needs and technical execution across Antech’s portfolio of products.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Product Master Data Management (PMDM):
  • Develop detailed documentation of system configurations, data flows, and operational processes.
  • Enforce data governance policies and perform audits or data quality assessments.
  • Build and maintain Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) that enable a single source of product data to flow throughout all relevant applications (e.g. https://www.antechdiagnostics.com/test-guide/, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), and other proprietary platforms).
  • Define or enhance Antech’s product master data by collaborating with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) across the organization.
Directory of Services (DoS):
  • Spearhead cross-functional teams to curate all DoS product data.
  • Serve as a content lead for the annual DoS revamp, including providing all product data and maintaining a repository of active and relevant products to include in all forms of this publication (digital, print, etc.).
  • Drive on-time delivery of the annual DoS revamp.
  • Govern cross-functional master data to ensure enterprise alignment and integrity.
Annual Price Adjustment:
  • Excellent project management skills ensuring on-time delivery of assets to internal and external customers (veterinary clinics, partners).
  • Drive cross-functional alignment with business partners to ensure that all pricing assumptions are well developed and vetted prior to implementation.
  • Identify process efficiencies and drive pricing initiatives forward.
  • Create the client distribution list, inclusive of customer master data information, for the annual pricing communication.
  • Facilitate increasing all customer Special Prices and Fee Schedule Prices.
  • Build and operationalize a price cap calculations workbook.
  • Assist in the dynamic creation of all customers’ price communication (both for National Accounts and for direct communication accounts).
  • Assist in drafting the annual pricing communication and training resources.
  • Assist in driving and implementing new initiatives, often corresponding with the price increase, and integrating any relevant pricing changes accordingly.
  • Manage the end-to-end evaluation and execution of custom pricing requests.
General Duties
  • Strong ability to manage multiple projects and priorities, ensuring alignment with company strategy and objectives.
  • Analyze stakeholder needs and translate them into actionable requirements.
  • Serve as the SME to ensure accurate and timely communication, planning, and execution around products in the portfolio, including ensuring adherence to Antech processes.
  • Create and maintain detailed product and execution plans that drive the on-time delivery of products, services, and enhancements to Antech’s customers.
  • Collect and analyze customer requirements through research and available market data and use it to shape products and enable the development of long-term product roadmaps.
  • Gather and analyze insights from the field sales team to shape product and pricing strategies.
  • Attention to detail for compliance, recordkeeping, and assessment integrity.
Education And Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in business, financial accounting, technical product management, or similar disciplines.
  • 4+ years working in data management, pricing, product management, or similar role, ideally in the technical or mass retail space.
  • Veterinary industry/animal health industry experience (vendors, manufacturers, diagnostics, large clinics) is preferred but not required.
  • Experience or exposure working with global teams is preferred but not required.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
  • Strong strategic, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead through influence across technical and nontechnical teams.
  • High level of learning agility and desire to better understand the animal health industry with a focus on diagnostics.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex global environment.
  • Effectively communicate and present in front of diverse audiences of any size and organizational level both in writing and verbally, virtually and in-person.
  • Understand and apply the Five Principles of Mars (Quality, Responsibility, Mutuality, Efficiency, and Freedom) in their work.
  • Participate in stand-ups, refinement sessions, demos, and usability testing.
  • Proactively identify roadblocks, communicate solutions, and collaborate on execution of solutions.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills required – including proficiency working in Excel and PowerPoint.
Travel

Up to 10% of the time

Working Conditions

The associate is regularly required to apply manual dexterity, including hand/wrist flexibility, for computer keyboarding. The associate frequently is required to sit for extended periods, stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. The associate is frequently required to hear and speak in order to use the telephone, make presentations, and communicate with people in an office environment. The associate is occasionally required to sit and stoop, bend, kneel, or crouch. The associate must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.

The associate will primarily work in a typical office environment including the use of cubicles, computers, and overhead lighting. Temperature extremes will be minimal to nonexistent. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The associate will be required to use a computer, spreadsheets, database management, email, and the Internet. The associate is frequently required to use a calculator, copy machine, and phone system. The associate must occasionally use media equipment such as an overhead projector, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Teams.
