Latitude seeks a Technical Product Lead to own the product function end-to-end, from roadmap to launches, directly with the founders. This is an hands-on role with real customers moving real money, an experienced engineering team, and a large backlog.
You’ll shape what ships this quarter and where global money movement heads over 3–5 years, including rails and regulatory shifts. You’ll work close to the metal: reading API specs, debating failure modes, and aligning with compliance, legal, and
Latitude is an early‑stage payments fintech building modern infrastructure for global money movement. We help businesses move value instantly, securely, and with full compliance-leveraging blockchain rails while delivering a seamless, enterprise‑grade experience.
Our team has built and scaled payments and financial infrastructure at Uber, Coinbase, Stripe, Amazon, and Facebook-bringing deep experience across fintech, marketplaces, and global‑scale systems. In January 2025, we raised an $8M seed round https://fortune.com/2026/03/31/exclusive-former-stripe-and-coinbase-employees-raise-8-million-for-latitude/?for40f= led by NEA, with participation from Lightspeed Faction, Coinbase Ventures, Paxos, Bitso, Solana Ventures, and others. We've since raised a $35M Series A led by Oak HC/FT https://www.linkedin.com/company/oak-hc-ft-partners/, with participation from existing investors New Enterprise Associates (NEA) https://www.linkedin.com/company/new-enterprise-associates/, Coinbase https://www.linkedin.com/company/coinbase/, and Faction VC https://www.linkedin.com/company/factionvc/, and new investors Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati https://www.linkedin.com/company/wilson-sonsini-goodrich-&-rosati/ and OpenFX https://www.linkedin.com/company/openfx/ -bringing our total raised to $43M.
We're looking for our first Product hire: an experienced technical product leader who wants to own the product function end-to-end at a fast-growing fintech.
We're looking to make our first product hire; someone to work directly with the founders every day and own the roadmap, discovery, specs, launches - everything that makes a product successful.
Today, this is a hands‑on role - not a management role. You will inherit a real product with real customers moving real money across a growing set of corridors, an experienced engineering team that ships fast, and a large backlog of decisions. As we scale, you'll build the product organization underneath you; today it's all hands on deck.
You’ll work on two things at once: what ships this quarter, and where global money movement is going over the next three to five years. Which rails will matter, which regulatory shifts are coming, what we own versus rent. We need to build for now and the future.
Lastly, because we sell infrastructure to technical buyers, this role sits close to the metal. You should be comfortable reading an API spec, reasoning about the failure modes of a payment flow, and arguing about idempotency and reconciliation with engineers who will push back.
You’ll have the opportunity to:
Rare Opportunity: We're backed by top investors (including NEA and Lightspeed Faction), finding significant traction, and taking on a massive market opportunity in international payments. First Product hires at companies like this are rare, and the leverage is real — you'll be shaping what gets built, not administering someone's roadmap.
Real Ownership: You'll own the product function from day one, with direct access to the founders and no layer between you and the decisions.
Impact: You'll be building critical infrastructure that makes global payments faster and more accessible for businesses and individuals worldwide.
Strong Team: Join a high‑caliber team that combines deep fintech expertise with startup execution experience. Our team has worked on the stuff that matters at companies like Stripe, Coinbase, Uber, and Facebook.
The base salary range for this role is $175,000 - up to $240,000, commensurate with experience, plus meaningful early‑stage equity.
