Humana Inc. is seeking an experienced IT Technical Product Lead to drive strategy, development, and delivery of technology solutions that support business objectives.

This role links business needs with architecture and development teams to ensure scalable, secure, and well-engineered products. You will own product vision, manage roadmaps, and collaborate across stakeholders, architecture, and engineering, while guiding Agile processes and prioritizing initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, Engineering, Business, or related field OR equivalent work experience.
  • 2+ years in Product Management, IT Leadership, or related roles.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise applications, systems integration, APIs, cloud platforms, databases, ELT and software development lifecycles.
  • Experience with Agile, Scrum, or SAFe methodologies.
  • Ability to translate business needs into detailed technical requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Familiarity with two of Snowflake, Databricks, RDBMS, SQL, Python.

Responsibilities

  • Define and own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for assigned IT products and platforms.
  • Collaborate with business leaders, users, architects, developers, and infrastructure teams to gather and prioritize requirements.
  • Lead product lifecycle activities from ideation and planning through implementation and ongoing optimization.
  • Translate business needs into detailed technical requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Partner with engineering teams to ensure solutions meet security, scalability, performance, and compliance requirements.
  • Manage product backlogs and prioritize initiatives based on business value, risk, and technical dependencies.
  • Drive implementation and rollout of new applications
  • Serve as the escalation point for product-related issues and incidents, coordinating with business and development.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and release coordination where applicable.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders and provide regular updates on product progress and outcomes.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, process improvements, and technology modernization.
  • Support vendor evaluations, technology assessments, and implementation projects.
