Job summary

Penguin Random House is seeking a Technical Product Analyst to join the Customer Operations team supporting Distrotheque (DTQ), our metadata and asset distribution platform. You will work with stakeholders to translate needs into detailed requirements and ensure quality through testing and release readiness.

The role emphasizes analytical problem solving, cross-team collaboration, and understanding complex systems.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in technical product analysis, business systems analysis, software quality assurance, or a related field.
Experience translating business needs into detailed functional or technical requirements.
Experience developing and executing software test plans, test cases, and regression testing.
Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills, with demonstrated ability to investigate complex system or data issues.

Responsibilities

Translate business needs into detailed functional/technical requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Analyze DTQ workflows, data flows, and system dependencies to assess impact of changes.
Develop and execute comprehensive testing for enhancements, fixes, and new functionality.
Document defects and coordinate with teams to reproduce issues and validate fixes.
Support Agile activities, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and release preparation.
