Job summary

LMI seeks an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead a mission-critical program at Fort Bragg, supporting USSOCOM. You will unify cross-functional teams, translate priorities into executable plans, and manage scope, schedule, cost, and quality commitments.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of federal/defense PM experience, a PMP (preferred), and active Secret/Top Secret clearances. Strong communication with government and corporate stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, CS, information systems, business, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of five years of project or program management experience leading multidisciplinary technical teams in federal/defense environments.
• Current PMP certification preferred; active DoW/ATO knowledge and security clearance are advantageous.
• Experience applying Agile delivery methods with engineers, developers, architects, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day planning, execution, and delivery of a complex technical program supporting USSOCOM mission requirements.
• Translate government priorities into integrated project plans, milestones, work packages, and measurable outcomes.
• Enable cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality capabilities on schedule.
• Establish and maintain program controls for scope, schedule, cost, staffing, risks, and contract deliverables.
• Monitor performance, identify risks, and drive timely mitigation and escalation.
• Coordinate priorities and timelines with technical leads, program leadership, and government stakeholders.
• Support Agile delivery through backlog refinement, sprint planning, and continuous improvement.
• Prepare executive briefings, status reports, and decision records; manage client engagements and action items.
