Job summary

Charge Robotics, a fast-moving solar robotics startup in the SF Bay Area, seeks a Technical Project Manager to own an important Sunrise deployment from development through international field deployment. You will connect engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and field teams to keep the multi-workstream effort on schedule and on spec.

You will drive design adaptation, coordinate with vendors, and manage logistics for international deployments, while maintaining risk visibility and stakeholder

Qualifications

• 4+ years of technical program or project management experience, ideally with complex hardware systems.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, with a track record of driving alignment across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and external partners.
• Ability to operate effectively amid ambiguity in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Based in or willing to relocate to the SF Bay Area and able to work 4–5 days per week from the San Leandro HQ.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end project plan and schedule for the engineering development and deployment effort across multiple teams.
• Drive the design adaptation cycle for the new system from concept through production readiness.
• Collaborate with supply chain to manage external vendors and contract manufacturers to meet timelines and quality requirements.
• Plan and coordinate international deployment logistics (freight, mobilization, on-site readiness) with field, engineering, and customer teams.
• Maintain a clear view of risks, dependencies, and critical path; surface tradeoffs to keep stakeholders aligned on status and decisions.
