• Negotiating, preparing, and executing all vendor contracts for each project/production.

• Directly manage employees in the production department.

• Hiring, vetting, and negotiating rates for additional crew and production staff.

• Prepare, in collaboration with the Associate Artistic Director, Technical Director and Touring Operations Manager, the season calendar for rehearsals, orientation meetings, Expectations and responsibility meeting, tour trainings, load out, and any other trainings as needed.

• Coordinate mail operations for touring companies.

• Collaborate with the General Manager and Finance Supervisor to provide information to submit border crossing and tax documentation required for international engagements.

• Have flexibility to reply to off-hour needs through the emergency call line.

• Vehicles (Fleet Management, insurance, coordination with the garage, bill payments, rental coordination).

• Running production meetings / coordinating agendas and agenda follow up.

• Calendar generation, maintenance, and distribution for all aspects of all productions in any given season from the acquisition of intellectual property rights through and including the final production load-out.

• Proactively supporting Managing Director with reports, recommendations, and troubleshooting as necessary.

Candidates should have enthusiasm for the organization’s mission to create exceptional, transformative theater for young and family audiences as well at least five plus years of experience in theatrical management, operations, or production.
