Qualifications

  • Experience in fast-paced lean manufacturing environment preferred.

TECHNICAL LINE OPERATOR - Nights

Monday - Friday 9:30pm to 6:00am

Pay Rate - $28.51/hour

This highly visible position located at our York, PA Facility.

What you'll do:

  • This position will be responsible for safety, quality and productivity of all equipment on a high-speed manufacturing line including unscrambler, filler, case former, case sealer, case packer, etc.

Essential Functions:

  • Responsible at all times for promoting a safety culture and awareness within their area.
  • Support and adhere to all plant safety policies and procedures at all times.
  • Safe and efficient packaging line operation to meet or exceed all quality, scheduling and customer requirements.
  • Perform machine set-up and changeovers.
  • Perform line performance troubleshooting and maintenance as needed to include replacement of machine components as necessary.
  • Perform line preventative maintenance, including adjustment, alignment and lubrication of machinery.
  • Perform product quality tests, including but not limited to, pH, viscosity, product inspection, weight control, cap torque and finished product inspection.
  • Computer operation including entering production information into the manufacturing system.
  • Set-up and operate check weigher, bottle coder, case coder and/or inkjet coder as needed.
  • Participate in continuous improvement teams to identify and resolve areas of downtime, etc.
  • Assist with the training and certification program as needed.

What you'll need:

  • High school diploma or GED required 3-5 years experience production line operation experience in a fast-paced lean manufacturing environment preferred
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, shop math skills and troubleshooting ability required
