Job summary

CACI is seeking a Technical Operator to support high-operations programs, planning and executing advanced technical operations onsite in Chantilly, VA, and abroad.

The role requires TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, a Bachelor's in a technical field, and 15+ years in cyber/technical operations, including TEMs and FATs with leaders and partners. You will travel across CONUS/OCONUS to support mission objectives and collaborate across diverse teams.

Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline with 15+ years of relevant experience.
  • Strong knowledge of cyber operation capabilities, lifecycle, data flows and risk assessment frameworks.
  • Extensive experience planning, designing, and overseeing cyber/technical operations from concept to deployment.

The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking a Technical Operator to fill a role supporting a heavily operations-facing role. In this position the officer will help plan, organize, and execute technical operations in support of priority mission requirements onsite and abroad assisting field personnel. Officer drafts and coordinates operational correspondences, as well as briefs and communicates operational planning to senior levels and other mission partners. Officer also has a solid understanding of field operations and can help guide technical and operational objectives. Officer will travel in support of operational objectives to both CONUS and OCONUS for periods of time. Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate effectively with a multi-faceted team to achieve project objectives and ensure seamless integration across diverse functions
  • Provide expertise in memo documentation including creation and coordination for teammates to ensure efficient communication with relevant recipients
  • Officer will help plan, organize, and execute technical operations in support of priority mission requirements
  • Travel in support of operational objectives, including FATs, to both CONUS and OCONUS
Qualifications
Required:
  • Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance, with polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline (i.e., Computer Science, Computer Engineering), with a minimum of 15+ years' experience in a relevant technical field to the position
  • Working knowledge of cyber operation capabilities and lifecycle, collection and other technical operations, including knowledge of dataset flows and associated technical risk assessment frameworks to support mission
  • 15+ years' experience developing, designing, planning and overseeing the execution of implementing and managing cyber or other technical operations from initial concept to full deployment
  • Ability to conceive, prepare for, and conduct technical exchange meetings (TEMs) and/or factory acceptance test (FATs) with varying levels of leadership and partners
  • Demonstrated familiarity with customer systems, processes and practices to create memo correspondence and informal communications with the field and mission partners, as well as contribute to the operational process documentation
  • Demonstrated experience with customer tools and data repositories
  • Experience working closely with internal and external mission partners
  • Must be a team player with strong interpersonal skills; be able to work in a high-impact, busy office and work well in an open, collaborative environment
  • Demonstrated experience preparing documentation
  • Strong analytic and critical thinking skills with demonstrated ability to research, analyze, prioritize effectively, problem solve, synthesize large amounts of data/information, and to work several tasks concurrently with minimum supervision
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and challenging team environment
  • Strong written and oral communication, organization and interpersonal skills, including experience coordinating and deconflicting operations at all levels
  • Ability to interact and communicate with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures and to convey technical information to non-technical individuals
Desired:
  • 5+ years' experience developing, planning and overseeing the execution of cyber operations, to include development of technical tools, operations access, and coordination with mission partners
  • Understanding and experience with client cultures, practices and processes
  • Experience with client practices and processes for approving and documenting field operations
  • Familiarity with the lifecycle of cyber operations, tools and tradecraft
  • Knowledge of the client’s data flow process

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$131,800 - $290,000
