Job summary

d'strict is seeking a Technical Operations Team Leader for ARTE MUSEUM in New York. This onsite role requires managing media equipment for digital content and live events, coordinating the system team, and ensuring reliable AV operations at the NY museum.

You will install, configure, and maintain projectors, video monitors, sound systems, and related facilities; heavy equipment lifting is required and after-hours work is common due to museum hours.

Technical Operations Team Leader

Job Summary

The responsibility of Technical Operations Team Leader is to operate media equipment for digital media content and all live events. System Team Staff configures, installs, and maintains media equipment such as projectors, microphones, video monitors, sound boards and facilities with the Team Leader.

The System Team Staff leverages basic knowledge of audio and video equipment, experience in lighting and photography, and good troubleshooting skills. Ultimately, System Team Staff keeps video content and facilities at its best to enhance the show's digital and live experience.

Duties and Responsibilities

• System Management and Team Coordination: Responsible for overall command, coordination, and management of the system team.
• Participates in problem-solving and decision-making, supporting team members' skill development and
• Managing overall Audio and Video equipment and facility maintenance: oversee the maintenance and operation of the system and facility to ensure smooth and efficient functionality.
• Includes monitoring and resolving any issues or malfunctions that may arise.
• Ensure that beam projectors, computers, media servers, network servers, CCTV and exhibition facilities are maintained in top condition.
• Create and execute a maintenance plan.
• Work cooperatively with team members to accomplish tasks together.
• In the event of a breakdown, try to repair or troubleshoot yourself as much as possible.
• Report to management on failures and actions taken.
• Provide hands‑on operational support as needed.
• N.B.: Duties & responsibilities are not limited to the job description.
