Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Process Engineering, or similar Life Science or Engineering degree.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification is must; Black Belt certification desired.
• 5–10 years of proven experience as a process engineer in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Experience with generic pharmaceutical operations involving solid, liquid, semi-solid, and nasal spray technology is desirable.
• PMP certification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead global process improvement program and culture of continuous improvement to deliver high performance and behaviors.
• Collect and analyze data using statistical tools on key products and processes; identify improvement opportunities.
• Lead root cause analysis using lean principles.
• Collaborate with R&D, Quality, Material Management, Engineering, and site leaders to establish goals and KPIs.
• Identify improvement opportunities through lean Six Sigma to improve product robustness.
• Mentor employees on lean activities and facilitate value stream mapping and risk assessments.
• Plan and track project timelines and budgets; organize cross-functional teams for project execution.
