Job summary

Kenvue is seeking a Technical Operations Packaging Co-Op in Fort Washington, PA (Hybrid). This paid role runs January–June 2027 and provides hands-on experience under the Principal Engineer Package Development, with mentoring and cross-functional exposure.

You will contribute to packaging development for OTC and dietary supplement products, create drawings and specs, document designs and tests, and collaborate with suppliers and Manufacturing Operations.

Qualifications

• Active enrollment in an accredited college/university pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Packaging Engineering/Science, Material Science, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related degree.
• Minimum GPA of 2.8 is required.
• Candidates must be diligent, highly organized, and able to handle multiple tasks.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Support packaging development activities for a broad portfolio of consumer healthcare products including OTC drugs and dietary supplements.
• Create and/or update packaging component and assembly drawings and material specifications.
• Document all packaging design, development, and testing to comply with internal processes and regulatory requirements.
• Support package development activities in Manufacturing Operations including packaging line trials.
• Interact with outside suppliers for packaging component development, evaluation, and testing.
• Recommend alternatives and solutions to resolve supply chain disruptions and emerging requirements.

What you will do

Technical Operations Package Development Engineer Co-Op January – June 2027

This position reports into Technical Operations Principal Engineer, Package Development and is based at Fort Washington, Pennsylvania.

The Tech Ops Package Development Co-Op provides each student with real-life hands-on experience, coaching and mentoring, networking opportunities, as well as the opportunity to meet people from various schools throughout the country. Multi-functional collaboration provides an opportunity to partner with a variety of people in the organization and develop your leadership, analytical, and project management skills to build a strong career foundation.

Key Responsibilities

• Support package development activities for a broad portfolio of consumer healthcare products including OTC drugs and dietary supplements

• Create and/or update packaging component and assembly drawings and material specifications

• Document all packaging design, development, and testing to comply with internal processes and regulatory requirements

• Support package development activities in Manufacturing Operations including packaging line trials

• Interact with outside suppliers for packaging component development, evaluation, and testing

• Recommend alternatives and solutions to resolve supply chain disruptions and emerging requirements

What We Are Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Candidates must be actively enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Packaging Engineering/Science, Material Science, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related degree.

• Minimum GPA of 2.8 is required

• Candidates must be diligent, highly organized, and able to handle multiple tasks

• Candidates must have the ability to work individually (independently) as well as on a team

• Ability to demonstrate strong analytical and problem solving skills is required

• Candidates need to be proficient with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Power Point
  
• Strong oral and written communication skills

Desired Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership and/or participation in campus/community service activities is desired Candidates must:

• Be available to work full-time (40 hours/week) during the co-op term

• Be available to travel to the office. Transportation is the student's responsibility

• Be legally authorized to work in the United States and not require sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future (e.g. H1-B or F1 status are not eligible)

What’s in it for you

Hourly pay rate for new hires in this position ranges:

$20.00 - $45.00

This takes into account a number of factors including work location, the candidate’s skills, experience, education level & other job-related factors.
