BiomeSense in Chicago, IL is seeking a Technical Operations Engineer to oversee the day-to-day upkeep of our pilot GutLab fleet and ensure experiments run smoothly from inspection to redeployment. You will work with the Laboratory team on hardware, firmware, and electromechanical systems, while supporting development and manufacturing as we scale production.

Role Summary: Operate the day-to-day upkeep of our pilot GutLab fleet. Partner with the Laboratory team to keep experiments running and carry each unit through its full return cycle – inspection, repair, updates, and redeployment. You'll also help build what comes next, supporting development and manufacturing as we ramp production of new hardware systems.
