Tech Operations Director(Remote - US)

We are seeking an experienced Technical Operations Director to lead LLM and Gen AI data projects for enterprise clients. This role requires an exceptional blend of strategic thinking, strong client-facing skills, project management and operational skills as well as a deep understanding of the Gen AI landscape, specifically, LLMs and LLM datasets. The ideal candidate will not only ensure the successful execution of current LLM/Gen AI engagements but also scope and define new use cases from the ground up, collaborating closely with clients to understand their unique AI data challenges and identify solutions. Please note, coding experience, while not required, is highly desirable.

The candidate must be able to maintain Eastern Time working hours.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership: Direct the end-to-end lifecycle of LLM data projects, from initial scoping and use case ideation with clients to project execution and delivery.

Project Oversight: Oversee project milestones, ensuring that timelines, quality targets are met. Anticipate and mitigate project delivery risks.

Team Management: Build, mentor, and lead ops teams, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and accountability.

Client Consultation & Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact with Enterprise Clients - foster trusted, long-term relationships.

AI Insight and Thought Leadership: Stay current with AI technology advancements.

Operational Excellence: Develop detailed project plans, allocate resources effectively, and refine operational processes to drive scalability and operational efficiencies.

Qualifications:

- Ideally 7-10 years of experience managing complex operations projects in client-facing roles

- Experience managing and building teams

- Strategic Management Consulting Experience

- Strong understanding of large language models and AI technologies.

- Strong understanding of the Gen AI landscape, data collection methodologies, and trends

- Coding experience in 1 or more languages

- Exceptional client-facing and communication skills.

- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Capable of strategic thinking and problem-solving in challenging scenarios.

- Experience managing financial models and forecasting



$170,000 - $210,000 a year
