What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

• Support low-latency electronic trading systems and ensure operational stability
• Build and manage process management and monitoring toolkits using scripting languages, preferably Python
• Coordinate, plan, and execute firm-wide changes within a global change management framework
• Troubleshoot and prioritize complex network and systems issues from hardware to software applications
• Collaborate with developers, quants, and traders to enhance functionality of existing and new trading systems

What is Required (Qualifications):

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Science, or a similar technical field
• Strong understanding of Linux operating systems
• Proven experience configuring and managing low-latency, high-availability trading systems
• Ability to triage and troubleshoot complex network and systems issues
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

• Experience with scripting languages, particularly Python
• Familiarity with networking concepts such as DNS, HTTP, TCP, and UDP
• Demonstrated initiative and ability to build trust with trading and technology teams
