Airbus Defence and Space GmbH in Manching seeks a Technical Material Data Documentation Specialist Eurodrone to join the Material Data Management team. You will create and update material data documentation in ASD S2000M and deliver accurate master data to internal and external customers.

You will develop product and equipment breakdowns from 3D models, prepare technical illustrations, and coordinate with the Eurodrone program to meet milestones while ensuring quality.

Qualifications

• Completed technical training or bachelor with technical background
• Interest in IT and data management tasks
• ASD S2000M knowledge; other ASD specs are a plus
• Ability to identify data correlations and dependencies
• Knowledge of Bundeswehr material data documentation
• Experience with Bundeswehr guidelines; former military service preferred
• Very good German and English skills (spoken and written)

Job Description:

For Airbus Defence and Space in Manching, we are seeking a Technical Material Data Documentation Specialist Eurodrone (f/m/d) to join the "Material Data Management" department. The System Support Services department at the Airbus site in Manching provides operational technical and logistical support for aircraft currently in service. Responsibilities within System Support Services include, among other things, continuous customer support for all technical services related to operational use, comprehensive customer consultation, and responsibility for coordinating and implementing hardware and software modifications for customers. Our scope is not limited to the components for which Airbus bears manufacturer responsibility; we also handle components from other partner companies. The "Material Data Management" department within the Technical Information Data division is responsible for material documentation. It is an integral part of Integrated Product Support (IPS) and In-Service Support (ISS) activities for the Eurofighter, Tornado, and Eurodrone flying platforms, as well as special projects. One of the key tasks involves generating and updating project-specific guidance documents (PSGD) and Initial Provisioning List (IPL) / Initial Provisioning Catalogue (IPC) data. Your tasks and responsibilities will include, among others:

• Creating and/or updating technical material data documentation in accordance with the international specification ASD S2000M
• Developing product and equipment breakdowns based on 3D models and technical documentation
• Preparing and commissioning the creation of technical illustrations
• Creating and maintaining the illustrated parts catalog based on material documentation
• Delivering material master data to internal and external customers
• Independently planning and executing all tasks within your area of responsibility
• Collaborating with other functions within the Eurodrone program to ensure program milestones are met and to support program activities
• Acting as a point of contact for suppliers, as well as receiving deliveries and performing quality checks

Desired skills and qualifications

• Completed technical training, advanced training as a technician or bachelor with technical background or similar qualification
• Interest in tasks related to IT and data management
• Ideally, experience in materiel documentation in accordance with ASD S2000M - Additional knowledge of other ASD specifications is an advantage
• Ability to identify and interpret data correlations and dependencies
• Knowledge of military material data documentation regarding Bundeswehr equipment and technology
• Ideally, experience with Bundeswehr material data documentation guidelines and procedures, gained as a former military service member
• Very good German and very good English skills (spoken and written); knowledge of additional languages e.g. Spanish is a plus
