Job summary

Airbus Defence and Space GmbH is seeking a Services Manager New Campaigns to lead ILS/ISS activities within the Chief Services FCAS department. You will plan and orchestrate tasks across development, production and In-Service phases, ensuring alignment with contractual obligations and international partners.

Ideal candidates hold a university degree in Engineering or Business, 7+ years in military aviation, and deep expertise in ILS/ISS, with fluent German and English.

Job Description: In order to support the Chief Services FCAS department, Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a Services Manager New Campaigns (d/f/m). A unique opportunity is offered in the Chief Services FCAS department, is supporting the definition of future weapon system as part of the Future Combat Air System (FCAS) with a focus on the definition of Next Generation Services ensuring an effective and efficient support of those systems. This role is also available with reduced weekly hours and an adapted scope of tasks.

Your tasks and responsibilities

Plan, integrate, and orchestrate all ILS tasks and deliverables, aligning internal and external stakeholders across dedicated contracts from development and production through to the initial In‑Service Phase, while guaranteeing full compliance with Air Power Services obligations.

Spearhead the elaboration of future‑oriented ILS/ISS solutions by defining robust support strategies, translating them into actionable concepts, and deriving precise system requirements and technology needs.

Forge strong partnerships with ILS experts and specialists across Airbus Defence and Space and our (inter)national network, leveraging their consultation to establish an optimal ILS baseline for future systems.

Drive the programme execution phase by preparing and releasing critical ILS deliverables, alongside actively representing the function in key internal and external stakeholder meetings.

Collaborate closely with TAS PMT specialists to secure the timely provision of essential processes, methods, and tools, ensuring seamless contract and programme execution.

Desired skills and qualifications

Holds a university degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or an equivalent field of study.

Boasts 7+ years of progressive experience within the (military) aviation sector, with a proven track record of managing complex projects and responsibilities.

Possesses profound expertise in In‑Service Support (ISS) processes and operational challenges, as well as deep technical knowledge of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS)—specifically in the development of ILS products and the orchestration of end‑to‑end ILS activities.

Demonstrates a disruptive mindset with the ability to challenge traditional working methods, proposing and implementing agile, future‑oriented solutions.

Combines strong communication skills with the talent to articulate complex interdependencies clearly and effectively to diverse stakeholders.

A dedicated team player with international openness, thriving in evolving environments that demand flexibility, resilience, and high engagement.

Fluent in both German and English at negotiation level (minimum C1 certification required).

This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company’s success, reputation and sustainable growth.
