Job summary

KYOCERA AVX Greenville LLC is seeking a product-focused sales/marketing professional to manage product line profitability and growth from Fountain Inn, SC. The role covers inventory, pricing, and technical communications to field teams and customers.

The candidate will analyze P&L by line and customer, train service and sales staff, and generate technical notes to support design-ins while aligning with global programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM/Engineering required.
• 1+ years of related sales, technical or marketing experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate at all levels; experience with passive electronic components preferred.
• Excel and pivot table skills required.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate pricing daily with market/customer segments.

• Support product line globally with the Product Group Manager and forecast activity.
• Train Customer Service and Field Sales on lines via visits, webinars, and resources.
• Generate technical notes on new product developments; track design-ins and design wins.

• Analyze P&L and revenue targets by product line or customer.
• Analyze market applications and recommend appropriate products to meet market needs.
• Assist Product Manager with inventory levels and turnover ratios.
• Provide technical material (articles, data sheets) and design kits to field.

Job description

Primary Function

This position is responsible for all business and technical aspects of the product line including maintaining, growing & expanding specific product lines. The duties include, but are not limited to: Inventory Management, Margin Management, Revenue growth, Profit Objectives, Technical Articles/Presentations and any other requirements for sustaining the business operations.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Negotiate pricing daily with market/customer segments.
• Analyze sales and marketing data, and P&L statements by product line and customer.
• Support product line(s) globally with the Product Group Manager and tracks/forecasts business activity.
• Train Customer Service and Field Sales Personnel on the responsible product lines ranging from the product itself, applications, and use through local area visits, Webinars and any other tools or resources that are available.
• Generate technical notes periodically to update the field on new product developments within the product groups to support design-ins. Track those design-ins and design wins.
• Support the MGE programs and the ‘backroom support’ system globally.
• Analyze the P&L and the business to ensure that the stated profit objectives and revenue targets by product line or by customer are met.
• Analyze market applications and recommend appropriate products to attack market needs.
• Support Product Manager in managing inventory levels and turnover ratios
• Support field sales and customers with technical material (articles, white papers, data sheets) as well as design kits

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM/Engineering discipline is required
• 1+ years of experience in a related sales, technical and/or marketing job function, is desired
• Ability to communicate at all levels. Experience with passive electronic components is preferred.
• Excellent skills Microsoft Excel spreadsheet and pivot table creation/utilization is required.
