Job summary

ASRC Federal is seeking a Technical Manager for a full-time, on-site role at the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center (MMAC) in Oklahoma City, OK. The position oversees front-line contractor teams supporting FAA SLE groups, providing supervision, task assignment, and performance management to assure NAS system resilience.

Qualifications include a BS in Engineering, 6–10 years of applicable experience, and knowledge of NAS facilities; relocation is expected within commutable distance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering or related technical field.
• 6–10 years of NAS facilities experience.
• Experience providing hardware and/or software support for electronic systems.

Responsibilities

• Set priorities, assign tasks and projects, and provide technical assistance to contract staff.
• Monitor, evaluate, coach, and develop contractor performance and capabilities.
• Review and approve deliverables, travel vouchers, leave requests, and training forms prior to FAA submission.
• Manage contractor performance related to quality, quantity, and timeliness, ensuring personal services are avoided.
• Coordinate with FAA managers on programmatic issues and ensure required FAA approvals for travel, overtime, and purchases.
• Oversee contractor training, including developing talent, submitting training requests, and ensuring accurate cost estimates.
• Submit reports and information requested by the FAA.
• Take or recommend corrective or disciplinary action when appropriate.
• Full-time position with a standard flexible work schedule.
• Occasional travel (~ 10%).
