As the Technical Manager, you will serve as the senior technical authority for InflexionPoint’s Data Center business vertical, ensuring engineering excellence, technical quality commissioning success, and development of technical talent. This includes overseeing the design, development, and implementation of control and automation solutions for mission critical applications, with an emphasis on quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction. The Technical Manager will manage multidisciplinary teams contributing to system architecture, hardware design, functional/software design, programming, commissioning, and operational support for systems across multiple projects in mission‑critical environments such as data centers. This is a full‑time, salaried, exempt position reporting to the General Manager – Data Centers.
Duties are performed in an office environment and/or remotely (hybrid), but will also require travel to customer sites/locations to perform installation supervision, on-site deployment, site testing, training, maintenance & troubleshooting, etc. Must be willing to travel approximately 75%; must be willing to work in a variety of locations. Willing to work in industrial / noisy environment with appropriate PPE when on-site.
Must be able to sit and/or stand for prolonged hours consistent with the average workday; to operate a computer and other office equipment, including but not limited to computer, printer, etc. Must be able to perform frequent site walk throughs, climb stairs and/or ladders, occasionally access/inspect interior of equipment; must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch and/or crawl; must be able to move, transport, position, place, install, remove and/or replace various types of equipment; must be able to lift 30-50 lbs. unassisted.
