Job summary

FUJIFILM North America Corporation is seeking a Technical Maintenance Supervisor in Greenwood, SC to lead a 12-person maintenance team and partner with production to meet demand. Responsibilities

  • Lead a 12-person maintenance team and drive proactive operations.
  • Prioritize equipment repairs with production management based on demand and SLAs.
  • Manage projects including new equipment installations and facility layout changes.
  • Oversee the maintenance budget and KPI tracking.
  • Apply Lean principles to improve efficiency and standardize procedures.
  • Ensure safety training and PPE compliance across the team.

Position Overview

This position is within the Imaging Division (ID) and provides consumer and commercial photographic products and services. This position is responsible for leading a team of 12 direct reports. (Quality Control Technicians, Inventory Control Coordinator, Maintenance Technicians) The Technical Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for efficiently working as a member of leadership driving the values by transforming the Technical Maintenance Team into a customer-focused, proactive operation that will help drive Fujifilm's business. This position reports to the Operation Manager in Greenwood, SC.

Job Description
Responsibilities
  • Drives initiatives and communicates with the technical team to meet the daily needs of the operation in a timely and effective manner.
  • Partner with the Production Management Team on equipment repair priorities based on overall customer demand and SLA.
  • Lead projects including new equipment installations and facility layout changes.
  • Managing the maintenance budget and ensuring it's within budget.
  • Utilization and sustainment of maintenance application which supports preventive maintenance, parts utilization and KPI tracking.
  • Evaluates and standardizes procedures. Applies Lean principles to improve employee efficiency.
  • Effectively responds and communicates in a timely manner with all appropriate customers both internal and external.
  • Works closely with the Operations Manager to oversee the completion of projects and ensure all needs are completed within budget and timelines.
  • Encourages and champions an atmosphere of Continuous Improvement by fostering an environment with the teams working together to act with intentional inclusion and participation of all team members.
  • Responsible for assisting in formulating plans addressing constraints, obstacles or other challenges that may significantly impact attainment of ongoing business objectives.
  • Participate in periodic management review meetings, including making presentations on issues, concerns, and successes.
  • Ensure that all Environmental Health and Safety standards are being followed, including required training and the proper use of personal protective equipment, as needed.

Required Skills/Education
  • Technical degree/trade certification or 3-5 years of applicable Industrial Maintenance or comparable experience.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Principles including 5S, root cause, waste, and Gemba.
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to travel to other corporate sites and industry-related training/events.
  • Advanced mechanical and electronic troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to read and comprehend service manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
Desired Skills
  • Demonstrated project planning and project management skills.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles including 5S, root cause, waste, Gemba, etc.
  • Experience in Total Quality Management.
  • Experience utilizing and maintaining maintenance applications like CMMS.
  • Minimum of 10 -15 years' mechanical and electrical engineering project management.
  • 5+ years of increasing responsibilities in Leadership in a manufacturing setting.
