Job summary

Versana is seeking a highly motivated Technical Lead to guide our Application Development team's technical implementation of the real-time syndicated loan platform. You will mentor engineers, partner with product managers and UX designers, and drive the technical direction to deliver scalable, secure applications.

Qualifications

• BS or BA in Computer Science or related field.
• 10+ years of full-stack development experience (Java/Spring Boot backend and React/Angular with TypeScript/JavaScript frontend).
• Strong understanding of application architecture, design patterns, and performance optimization.
• Proven experience leading technical projects or teams in an agile environment.
• Proficiency with REST APIs, GraphQL, and database technologies (SQL and NoSQL).
• Hands-on experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Curiosity and willingness to learn, teach, and grow within a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the technical direction in collaboration with Architects.
• Drive delivery of scalable, high-quality solutions.
• Translate client needs into high-impact, visible work with Product/UX teams.
• Build test automation across the full stack and enforce best practices.
• Improve application performance and reliability in cloud environments.
• Act as technical authority and lead architectural discussions.
