Job summary

Versana is seeking a motivated Full Stack Software Engineer to join the Application Development squad. You will build and maintain Versana’s real-time syndicated loan platform, enabling clients to access live loan data and positions through a streamlined front-end interface.

Boasting a dynamic, agile environment, you’ll contribute across ideation to deployment, collaborate with product and UX, and drive performance, scalability, and secure backend services in the cloud.

Qualifications

• BS or BA in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of full stack development experience (backend with Java/Spring Boot, frontend with React/Angular (TypeScript/JavaScript)).
• Experience with REST APIs and GraphQL.
• Experience working with Databases (SQL and NoSQL).
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines.
• Exposure to third-party libraries (AG grid, D3 etc.).
• Experience with public cloud computing.
• History of building enterprise application software within financial domain.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own front and back-end applications for our platform.
• Work with Product and UX to address client needs with high-impact and high-visibility solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable and well-documented code.
• Build test automation across the full stack of our software.
• Optimize the applications for performance and scalability.
• Develop and maintain our design system.
• Help setup the technical foundation and culture for the Application Development squad.
• Help onboard and mentor new team members.
