Job summary

LAW Absolute seeks an experienced probate, estates and trusts lawyer to join as Technical Lead. You will guide complex probate matters, estate administration and trust structures while maintaining high client care and professional standards.

You will be the technical authority, supporting colleagues with difficult cases, interpreting wills and provisions, advising on risk and compliance, and helping raise the team’s knowledge in a fully remote setting. Independent work is essential.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in probate, estate administration and trusts.
• Qualified Lawyer, Barrister or CILEX or equivalent qualification.
• Ability to interpret complex wills, trust provisions and estate planning.
• Comfort advising on trustee responsibilities, risk and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert technical guidance across probate, estates and trusts.
• Act as technical authority on complex estates and high-risk cases.
• Interpret wills, trust provisions and estate planning arrangements.
• Advise on legal risk, compliance and client care standards.
• Provide coaching and technical support to colleagues in a remote environment.
