Job summary

Galaxy i technologies Inc. seeks a Technical Lead for Mainframes to guide development teams and ensure architectural excellence across core mainframe applications. You will drive design sessions, code reviews, performance tuning, and collaboration with QA to deliver reliable mainframe solutions.

Qualifications

• 12–15 years of experience in mainframe development and leadership roles.
• Strong expertise in IBM mainframes: COBOL, JCL, IMS DB, and DB2.
• Experience with Xpediter, Abend-AID, File Manager, ADCP, and GitHub.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management experience; familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate complex technical concepts to business stakeholders.
• Hands-on development experience; profiles limited to production-support-only will not be considered.
