Job summary

Wipro Limited is seeking a senior software development professional in the United States to lead advanced solutions in C/C++, Linux/Unix, and shell scripting within the Payments domain.

Over 10 years of experience in design and technical leadership is expected, including ISO 8583 processing and transaction systems. You will drive architecture reviews, mentor engineers, and coordinate end-to-end lifecycle activities in an agile environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Software Development with strong C, C++, Linux/Unix, and Shell scripting.
• Experience in Payments Domain and ISO 8583 message processing.
• Knowledge of transaction switching, authorization, clearing, and settlement systems.
• Payment network experience (Visa, Mastercard, or Banking platforms).
• Lead end-to-end software development lifecycle activities.
• Design scalable, high-performance, and secure application solutions.
• Drive architecture reviews and technical discussions.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, BAs, and cross-functional teams.
• Lead code reviews and enforce coding standards and security guidelines.
• Analyze production issues and provide timely resolution.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.
• Mentor junior engineers and support team skill development.
• Coordinate release planning and post-deployment validation.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and sprint planning.
• Ensure system reliability, availability, and performance.

Role Purpose

The purpose of this role is to facilitate application solutions by developing and reviewing module-level codes, creating replication patterns, performing root cause analysis to identify recurring issues and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure stable, well-documented deliverables that meet business objectives.

Mandatory Skills: C Programming.Experience: 5-8 Years.The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000 .Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience.
