Job summary

Jabil in Saint Petersburg, FL seeks a Technical Lead to guide enterprise IT efforts, shaping design, development and delivery of technology-enabled applications and services. You will drive best practices, mentor teams, and ensure solutions meet requirements and schedules.

You will coordinate with functional managers, review new technologies, and lead technical teams while communicating with customers and internal stakeholders to align with the IT strategy.

Qualifications

• Proven proficiency across multiple disciplines and technologies.
• Fluent in business processes and best practices.
• Advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of Jabil’s software packages.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Demonstrated technical leadership experience
• Project management training
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to include excellent written and verbal communication skills, and proven ability to work with the customer, management and technical teams in a “self starter” role
• Strong attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Coordinate a team of resources to ensure quality and timely delivery of projects.
• Establish and maintain technical standards and guidelines.
• Review and evaluate new technologies for current and upcoming projects.
• Participate in technical design reviews to ensure high quality designs.
• Plan and oversee development and support of IT areas and systems.
• Direct activities related to introducing new services, products, and processes.
• Lead technical teams and communicate risks to the business.
• Mentor team members on processes and techniques.
• Align solutions with the overall IT strategy.
• Implement project management methodologies for project success.
• Develop and direct activities to increase systems and application availability.
• Losterliaise between technical team, PM, and IT management.
