ClassWallet is hiring a Technical Lead, Full Stack Engineer to build core services and scalable user interfaces in a modern stack. You will own API design, data modeling and cross-team collaboration to deliver reliable, auditable financial software for public funds.

The role emphasizes AI-assisted development, production ownership, and mentorship across engineering teams, with a focus on scalable, secure solutions in a fast-growing fintech environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience across the full SDLC.
• Experience owning production enterprise systems and guiding deprecation/migration.
• Proven track record delivering services that achieve adoption by multiple teams.
• Strong mentoring and stakeholder communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Build greenfield internal services from zero to production and broad adoption.
• Design and build customer-facing apps in React, Next.js and TypeScript, backed by owned services.
• Build administration backends and tooling to enable other teams to reuse primitives.
• Own durable API contracts: versioning, backward compatibility and SDK migrations.
• Organize reusable components to guide other engineers to best patterns.
• Evolve data models across PostgreSQL, MySQL and MongoDB as needs change.
• Operate what you build with SLOs, instrumentation and incident follow-through.
