Job summary

Module X Solutions LLC in Shreveport, LA is seeking a Technical Lead who is a hands-on working lead bridging frontline execution and supervision. You will provide strong technical expertise, daily leadership, and task coordination within your department to meet engineering specifications and production goals.

The ideal candidate has proven hands-on experience in manufacturing, can train others, resolve production issues, and uphold safety and process standards in a fast-paced fabrication

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary resource for team members; provide troubleshooting support, guidance, and mentorship.
• Ensure team adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and productivity goals.
• Assist in training and onboarding new employees; reinforce skill development across the team.
• Communication needs to supervisors.
• Maintain organization, cleanliness, and efficiency of the work area (5S practices encouraged).
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, engineers, and cross-functional teams regarding workflow, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
• Identify and elevate equipment issues, process inefficiencies, or personnel concerns to management.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across production processes.
• Proven hands-on experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment within the relevant department.
• Advanced understanding of department-specific tools, materials, and processes.

JOB SUMMARY

The Technical Lead is a hands‑on working lead. This role bridges the gap between frontline execution and departmental supervision, offering strong technical expertise, day‑to‑day leadership, and task coordination within their assigned area. The ideal candidate will be proficient in the tools, equipment, and processes of their department, and capable of training others, resolving production issues, and ensuring compliance with engineering specifications and company procedures.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, the employee sometimes works near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to excessive noise, extreme heat, extreme cold, and heights. When participating in activities on the shop floor, the noise level in the work environment is typical for a fabrication shop and ear plugs may be used as necessary.
