Capgemini is seeking a Technical Lead for Data Governance, Lineage & AI in Charlotte, NC. You will drive architecture strategy and oversee delivery of an enterprise data lineage and AI metadata platform initiative, coordinating across engineering teams and stakeholders to ensure scalable, secure solutions.

You will define target state architecture, establish technical standards, and guide governance reviews while mentoring engineers to adopt best practices and maintain high code quality.

Qualifications

  • Must have extensive ETL/ELT architecture experience.
  • Proficient data modeling using canonical models.
  • Experience with Generative AI / LLM-based solutioning.
  • Strong API integration design skills.
  • Cloud experience, GCP preferred.

Job Title: Technical Lead - Data Governance, Lineage & AI

Location - Charlotte, NC

We are seeking a highly experienced Solution Technical Lead to drive the architecture technical strategy and overall solution delivery for an enterprise Data Lineage and AI Metadata Platform initiative The candidate will be responsible for defining target state architecture establishing technical standards governing solution quality and leading cross functional engineering teams throughout the engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Define end-to-end solution architecture and technical roadmap

Design canonical data models and metadata frameworks

Establish data extraction and lineage generation strategies

Act as Design Authority for all architecture reviews and technical decisions

Define integration patterns across source systems metadata repositories APIs and governance platforms

Lead technical reviews code quality initiatives and architectural governance

Ensure scalability security performance and maintainability of solutions

Collaborate with business stakeholders product teams and engineering leads

Mentor engineers and establish development best practices

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: 99712 to 151000

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws.
