Job summary

The Vanguard Group in Malvern, PA, is seeking a Full-time Technical Lead to guide the QRAPS Equity and Fixed Income Investment Risk & Analytics Team. You will lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable full‑stack solutions, cloud platforms, APIs, and risk analytics tooling to support investment risk analysis, stress testing, back-testing, and reporting.

You will mentor engineers, establish engineering best practices, review designs, and ensure security and operational excellence.

Qualifications

Deep expertise in full-stack development, cloud-native platforms, APIs, and analytics.
Strong leadership in architecture, technical governance, and design reviews.
Experience delivering vendor integrations, AI-enabled solutions, and cloud solutions.
Ability to balance delivery, risk, debt, and maintainability.
Mentoring engineers and driving engineering best practices.

Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, implementation, and support of scalable full-stack technology solutions.
Partner with architects, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to deliver vendor integrations, cloud-native platforms, APIs, AI-enabled solutions, and automation capabilities.
Mentor and develop engineers, establish engineering best practices, review designs and documentation, and ensure adherence to standards.
Influence stakeholders, communicate across business and technology organizations, and balance delivery objectives with long-term sustainability.
