Job summary

Bristlecone Inc. is seeking a Technical Lead for its Cloud Development – Delivery team to spearhead cloud and application engineering projects across the United States.

The role blends deep technical expertise with project management acumen to design, implement, and deliver scalable, secure cloud solutions. You will guide multidisciplinary teams, align technical roadmaps with business objectives, and ensure high‑quality delivery within schedule and budget constraints.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of cloud engineering and app development experience.
• Proven lead or PM on large-scale cloud initiatives.
• Deep AWS/Azure/GCP expertise and patterns.
• Strong Docker/Kubernetes and IaC experience.
• CI/CD tools and automation experience.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder mgmt skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering; Master’s preferred.
• PMP/Scrum Master or equivalent certification is a plus.
• US work authorization; willingness to work onsite/remote as required.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute cloud architecture strategies across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Lead cross-functional teams through full project lifecycle from planning to production.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and risk mitigation.
• Ensure security, governance, and best-practice standards.

• Strong knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps) and automation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• PMP, Scrum Master, or equivalent project management certification is a plus.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex performance and reliability issues.
• US work authorization and willingness to work onsite/remote as required.
