Job summary

Bristlecone is seeking a Cloud Development – Delivery leader in San Jose to design, implement, and manage cloud‑native applications and infrastructure. You will oversee delivery pipelines and collaborate with engineering, operations, and business stakeholders to accelerate value and ensure scalable, high‑quality solutions.

Lead cloud projects, implement CI/CD, and mentor engineers while ensuring governance, security, and cost controls.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering and application delivery management.
  • Proficiency with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Hands‑on experience with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates).
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, etc.).
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects and coordinate cross‑functional teams.
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills and a proactive, results‑oriented mindset.
  • Effective communication in English; Spanish proficiency is a plus.
  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps Engineer) preferred.

  • Evaluate emerging cloud technologies and recommend adoption strategies.
