Job summary

Hanson Professional Services Inc. is seeking a Technical Lead for the Civil Site Group in Jacksonville, FL. You will lead site development projects from concept to completion, directing civil sitework, stormwater, and utility design while ensuring regulatory compliance.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, a P.E. license, and 15+ years of site design experience, with municipal and federal project exposure a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Active P.E. licensure is required.
• Minimum 15 years of site design experience.
• Experience in municipal engineering a plus; federal market experience a plus.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and related design tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead site development projects from concept through completion, ensuring innovation and excellence.
• Direct civil sitework, stormwater management, and utility design.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and produce high-quality technical documentation.
• Mentor and train design staff; contribute to recruitment and retention efforts.
• Collaborate with the Florida Infrastructure Group and other Hanson markets.
• Address site grading, ADA compliance, stormwater systems, and utilities.
• Conduct QA/QC reviews and manage construction assistance and administration.
