The role requires 5–8 years in the Big Data/Hadoop space, strong data governance knowledge, and expertise in Unix shell scripting and Spark development. A hybrid work model is expected with three days onsite per week.

Job Description

Role: Technical Lead -Big Data

Location: O'Fallon, Missouri (3 Days onsite/week)

Role & Responsibilities

Support Big data ETL platform built on top of Hadoop

Required Skills

• Hadoop (HDFS/Ozone, Hive), Spark(Python/ Scala/ Java), SparkUI, Unix shell scripting technologies
• Understanding of Data Warehouse/Data Lake/Lake House related ETL /ELT concepts, data quality, governance and performance tuning aspects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Desired Skills

• Familiarity with ITSM tools like Remedy, JIRA. Understanding of Work Order(WO), incident(INC), problem(PBI), and change(CRQ) management.
• Knowledge of Python, JupyterNotes, NiFi, NiFi Registry, Oracle (SQL, PL-SQL), C, DMX/Syncsort,, CI/CD (GIT, Jenkins/ Chef), AirFlow, Kafka/Axon Streaming
• Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and tools like Databricks is a plus.

Mandatory Skills: Hadoop Cloudera.Experience: 5-8 Years.

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000 .Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience.
