Job summary

Birlasoft is seeking an experienced Java backend developer to design, build, and support enterprise web applications using J2EE, Spring Boot, and cloud technologies. You will work in a PCF environment and contribute to CI/CD pipelines while integrating diverse backend systems.

The role requires collaboration with clients, architects, and frontend teams, with experience in both onshore and offshore delivery models and a mix of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

Qualifications

• 8+ years development experience in Java Web/Enterprise projects.
• Strong understanding of design patterns.
• Experience with Spring / Spring Boot / Cloud technologies.
• Experience with Java EE, Maven and app servers.
• Experience with Spring Security and SSO solutions.
• Experience with databases such as Oracle, MySQL, DB2 and SQL/JDBC/ORM.
• Experience sizing, scalability, and deployment issue resolution.
• Experience deploying to enterprise app servers.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on J2EE-based web application development and support.
• Develop with Spring / Spring Boot / Cloud technologies.
• Work with PCF environment for cloud deployments.
• Participate in CI/CD processes.
• Integrate backend systems and coordinate with clients, architects, and frontend developers.

Job Description:

• Hands on enterprise level J2EE based web application development and support
• Hands on experience in Spring / Spring Boot / Cloud technologies
• Hands on Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) environment
• Experience on Continuous integration and Continuous Development (CICD) process
• Hands on java backend developer, will be responsible for integrating different backend systems.
• Work closely with our clients, architects and frontend developers to define the integration with the client’s back end systems, determine implementation details, and realize those implementations.
• Experience in onshore and offshore development management model
• Experience in Agile and Waterfall project development methodology

Technical Skills:

• Minimum of 8+ years development experience within Java Web/Enterprise projects;
