We are a venture-backed, Series B developer infrastructure company, who has products in the security, security software toolchain and AI space. We are backed by top-tier investors and growing our enterprise footprint quickly. The engineering team is small, senior and organized into autonomous pods with no layers of management in between.
We are hiring a hands-on Technical Lead for our Enterprise pod, the team that builds the authentication, SSO and enterprise-grade capabilities our largest customers depend on. You will lead a pod of three to four engineers while still writing production code, owning architecture, and setting the technical direction for the work. Expect roughly 60 to 70 percent of your time to be hands-on engineering and 30 to 40 percent leadership, so you need to be one of the strongest technical resources on the pod.
This is not a people-management-only role. Our leads are engineers first: you will be in the codebase, in design reviews and in incident channels alongside your team. You are also the person who keeps the pod moving forward, making sure the team is building the right things in the right order and course-correcting early when something is heading the wrong way.
You will work closely with our founders, so you need the judgment to push back thoughtfully, translate business priorities into technical plans, and earn trust through clear, diplomatic communication. Former engineering managers who want to get back to being hands-on are very welcome. Because you will be building enterprise developer infrastructure at a fast-moving startup, prior experience in the developer tooling or infrastructure space and at venture-backed, Series A to C companies is essential.
